do u train in anything else other than Judo? Yeah, I trained TKD but I'm gonna start doing Sil Jun Do which is a combination of Muay Thai, Judo, and BJJ. I'll also be taking Muay Thai classes 1 time a week so 5 out of the 7 days of the week I'll be training :D

I'll also be taking Muay Thai classes 1 time a week so 5 out of the 7 days of the week I'll be training :D ive never heard of Sil Jun do. Is it a MA started at ur gym? or is it for kids or somethin?

j/k. Judo's great. It's amazing to watch a little guy- who has mastered it- fling a huge 6 foot 5 monster around like a rag doll.

2nd pic, it's a Harai-Goshi, right? I did judo for 8 years.....I always went for that move, or an Osoto-Gari

ive gone to 3? tournaments. i i got like second, first, third? this was back in junior high though.
2nd pic, it's a Harai-Goshi, right? I did judo for 8 years.....I always went for that move, or an Osoto-Gari Yeah, everyone seems to go for that at tournaments..best way to win is let the person go for it and when he puts his leg behind your leg(I'm talking about the osoto btw) then you do the osoto on him..that's what I always do atleast.

heh. doesnt f*cking matter. My dad whooped a guy with a black belt like nothing when he had a green belt, as they say, never judge a book by its cover.
Yeah, everyone seems to go for that at tournaments..best way to win is let the person go for it and when he puts his leg behind your leg(I'm talking about the osoto btw) then you do the osoto on him..that's what I always do atleast. but the most devastating move I find, is the Tayo-Toshi, although hard to execute, when you get it perfectly, it's so easy to give the guy a concussion

Yeah, we were doing it yesterday at practice. 1 throw I would never try to do at a tournament is I forgot the name but the 1 where you sit down and put your leg on his thigh and flip him over yourself..I'd **** up and he'd land on me and BOOM! blood everywhere! yeah, but the biggest risk with that move, is that the referee might actually think the guy tripped you and you fell, so the opponent has some big chances of getting points (assuming you didn't fall flat on your back for a Ipon)
