Question:
is it possible....
starting tommorow im going to add some new stuff to my routine. Upon waking (empty stomach) im going to do approxiamtely 30-40 of running 6 days a week (sunday off). I then work out at about 4:00 in the evening for at least an hour. Coupled with a good clean diet i intend to lose some extra b.f. Is it possible to see results from this plan within a month. I not necessarily going to reduce calories drastically just eat completely clean.
I can guarantee you will lose muscle by running on an empty stomach.
what do you suggest, a protein shake pre-run, ?
I agree with the above post. Take it from me, running on an empty stomach is a great way to lose muscle mass and sabotage your efforts. I used to ground and pound ten miles first thing in the morning (no food) and it left me looking anorexic no matter how much I ate or lifted throughout the day.
in the morning i would have half a scoop of protein or take some bcaas/eaa's like xtend or purple wrath
you could also do cardio after your lifting when your glycogen stores are again depleted
dont kill yourself during the morning cardio, safe high intensity stuff for after you have eaten
idk after over an hour of busting my ass in the gym would it be a better idea to run then.ive heard its best in the morning. if i did decide to do the morning run would a scoop of ON Whey do the trick
