Thought I'd start some discussion about books.
My favourite authors are Kerry Greenwood, Sarah Ban Breathnacht, Joan Borysenko, Elizabeth George and Agatha Christie. Hmmm. just noticed that they're all women!
What are your fave books/ authors?
I love Kerry Greenwood too. I heard her at the Melbourne Writers Festival a few years ago

I love Agatha Christie. At the moment I am going through a Patricia Cornwell thing, she's easy to read. I quite like Margaret Attwood but I find I need to concentrate a bit harder on her stuff but I love the way she writes.
My all time favourite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, for sentimental value as well as the story.
Hi Melissa, great to hear another Kerry Greenwood fan. How does she come across as a speaker? She sounds like a fascinating woman. Her Phryne Fisher books started an obsession with all things 1920s. I've even looked for her house at St Kilda!
Hi Naomi. Yes, Patricia Cornwell and Margaret Atwood are also great. I'd love to see the Cornwell's kay Scarpetta series made into a mini series.
Mindy, the mini-series would be great - might be a bit gory though, with all the autopsy stuff.
Patirica Cornwell Sidney Sheldon would probably be my fav authors.
My favourite book would probably have to be The Power of One (Bryce Courtenay)

well i like john grisham. robin cook and read pretty much everything i can get my hands on.
i am at present reading a book of voltaire's best works!!
I'm currently reading some of Di Morrissey's books. She's an easy read but her plots are kind of the same. Her books almost always starts off with some big family tragedy.but I do enjoy them. Barra Creek is a good one.
I use to read a lot of Dean Koontz in high school. I LOVE Jodi Picoult's books. She's my all time favourite.
My favourite book when I was growing up was Pollyanna ( it has had a long lasting impression on me)
I read heaps of books which drives my hubby crazy coz when I get into a good one nothing gets done until its finished. And I can read books over and over again!
Some of the most recent authors I have been reading are Maeve Binchy, Sara Donati- Into The wilderness, Dawn on a Distant Shore and I am waiting for mum to bring me up the third one to read.
I am currently reading The Shelters of Stone by Jean M Auel which is the 5th book in the Clan of the Cave Bear series ( the other 4 I read about 10- 15 years ago).
I love the Harry Potter series and have read most of Stephen King's books over the years too.
