Jack admitted to being molested as a child.not too much else involving the regulars happened.Dr Campion is going to be a father.but that was on shorts for next weeks episode.he doesn't look too pleased.
Jack treats a fourteen year old intellectually gifted boy who presents with what looks like appendicitis but it soon becomes apparent that there is more going on for the teenager than meets the eye. His plight is pushing buttons for Jack who is still struggling with the reminder of his own tortured teenage years.
When a meth-amphetamine addict is admitted after a fight, Mike and Zoe clash over how best to treat him, or whether or not he even wants treatment at all. Mike sees Josh's time in the ED as an opportunity to perhaps turn a user from the path of full-blown addiction, but his arrogant and forceful methods are not to Zoe's liking.
And while Mike struggles to deal with the patient, Zoe's dislike of him and Jack's behaviour, he misses his call in time to the Medical Board and has to ask Frank for a favour to keep him out of serious trouble.
Bart is due to be discharged from the hospital, but it's obvious he's not keen to make the leap. Frank steps in to ensure nothing happens to Bart that he doesn't feel confident with, much to Von's chagrin. But Von's words of wisdom regarding Frank's overprotectiveness give Frank an idea they may all live to regret.
A woman is brought in with a serious degloving injury. Vincent, Sean and Gabrielle work with tenacity, kindness and skill to calm and then stabilise her for Theatre. But have they left things too late?
