Question:
New to this forum...but not body-building
Finally.....I found a forum for us "old farts"......hehehehe
I been a member to a few other forums but they seem like they are run but the younger crowd.....(no offence but it bothers me when i ask a question and a "kid" whos been lifting for a year or less tries to answer it and i've been lifting for 20)....enough about that.....I hope to be a member here a long time and hopefully make this my main forum
Welcome pman, not older, just wiser. :)
Yes, my experience was similar to yours, once you find this place, you'll never leave. Besides, there's nothing this group can't answer.
Welcome pman; I'm new both to the board.. and to body-building. I'm also glad to find a section on this board for the mature BB's. This is definitely where I plan to hang out and pick up a ton of great tips from you guys, as I grow.
Good to meet you.
Welcome aboard!!!
I feel the same way, although some of the younger crowd do know a few things, I have seen some advice that I don't trust in other forums.
Anyway, so, tell us about yourself.
Hi, welcome aboard! :D
Welcome pman30 and Michaeljazz...
I think this is the best forum also.
A great day to all.

A little more about myself.....
I've been lifting since i was 18, i weighed 160 when i started and now i'm up to 257. I never did any roids and don't plan on it...i don't need my ten minutes of fame at the risk of long term illness...i've gained almost a 100 pounds since i started soo i don't think i'm doing too bad..it just took me a little longer...plus i know i'll keep my size.
Even though i've been lifting for 20 years i still learn something new all the time...i'm not hard headed and think i know it all...lifting is the easy part, nutrition is where i'm still learning.
I'm always in a state of bulking so if there is a discussion on cutting i'm out. I hope i will be of help and hopefully i can get some good advise from you all too.
Welcome to the board.
Looking forward to your insights.
welcome to the "more mature" board! post a pic when you get a chance. You have to be one big dude, 20 years lifting and gaining 100lbs.
