Question:
Question about p90x
hi i have a question for you guys. my dad is it fairly good shape but has a decent amount of fat on him. he wants to start p90x and i want to hear from any of you guys if you had success or do you recommend to him.
thanks
I would suggest he have a stress test by his doctor first before considering such a rigourous training.
The program is very tough on the cardio-vascular system. You really need a ticker that is in great shape to deal with it.
There are plenty of good training programs available, maybe not as inspiring to someone that has a high motivation level you need for the P90x.

alright cool thanks for the help, i never really realized how intense it is For someone your age, probably not a problem at all. Someone your dad's age can have cardio vascular issues unknown to him.

and reps to you for the help
If you follow the workouts and the meal plan it will work. I agree with the rest though it is a rigorous workout for someone like your dad. I think he would be better off doing some weight training and start some cardio.
