Question:
Werid Pain in the Back of Head while doing Bulgarian Split Squats
Ok today while doing the above i felt this pain that went from the back of my neck up to the top of my head. Its worth noteing that these were serioulsy hard. This is the second time its happened it aswell. It also happened on tuesday when i did the same exercise.
Basically should i be worried about this. I ve never experienced anything like this before. I ve herd of people fainting while doing regualar squats something about all the blood being pumped to legs which causes you to faint is this true or BS?
Anyway have any of you experienced anythig like this? Greatly appreciate answers
Anyone?
Most likely this is a blood vessel strain. Its called an exertional strain or something. It is when you push too hard, without breathing properly, and you strain a blood vessel int he back of your head. I used to do it bench pressing back in high school, lol. It takes a week or two to go away, assuming you don't keep re-aggravating it.
PS - I'm not a Doc, so when in doubt get it checked out.

BREATHE. i dont do these type of squats but i use to get an extreme pain in the back of my neck/head. you have to breathe ALL the way out when your really pushing/just getting to the top/at the top. then take in alot of air on the way back down.
Anyone? Exertion headaches, I used to get those got em 3 times. Read the thread I made about it. Severe headaches or something like that.
Drink tons of water, take 5g fish oil when you wake up, warmup well beforehand with light running, breathe during your reps.
It will go away, most likely, if it doesn't go see a doctor.
